Forum Changing Forum Depth from 2 to 3 (changing html in Templates)
Greetings,
I'm trying to add a third layer of forums on my site. This is what I was told to do when I e-mailed VBulletin directly. By default, vB only allows a Forum Depth of 2 to be dispayed (this includes categories.) To change this: 1. Admin CP -> Options -> vBulletin Options -> Forum Listings Display Options -> Depth of Forums -> Forum Home -> 3 2. Manually create new templates to increase the forums displayed. You have to add template forumhome_forumbit_levelx_post and template forumhome_forumbit_levelx_nopost for each level past 2, replacing the x with the level number. For instance: forumhome_forumbit_level3_nopost forumhome_forumbit_level3_post etc. Copy the *******s of the other templates ('1' or '2') into these new templates. Then change the 'Depth of Forums' setting in the Admin CP to the appropriate number. Repeat as necessary for whatever Depth you want. I did what is mentioned in #1 I also created the two additional templates and copied the *******s from level2_nopost into the *******s for level3_nopost, as well as copied the *******s of level2_post into the *******s for level3_post. Unfortunately there's something that's missing. After Copying the *******s of the html code from Level 2 into level 3, there needs to be some slight changes to the html code in the level 3 templates in order for this to work. Does anyone know what html code changes that are needed.
